El Teide

El Teide:

Mi blog también va dirigido a otro recurso de gran importancia como es El Teide. Desde siempre Tenerife se ha caracterizado por este recurso de gran importancia, dentro del estudio del Teide he añadido otros recursos como pueden ser El refugio del Teide, una de las especies endémicas más importantes de Canarias como es el Alhelí del Teide, la tercera montaña más alta de Canarias “Montaña de Guajara” las minas de San José con su espectacular paisaje entre otros.

El Teide :

In my blog Hill be explained other important resource called El Teide which was declared World Heritage in 2010 by UNESCO .Forever Tenerife has been characterized by this resource. In the study of this volcano, I have added other resources as for example “The Refuge of el Teide” one of the most important endemic species of the Canaries known as the “Wallflower of El Teide”moreover the third highest mountain of the Canaries called “Guajara mountain” “The mines of San José” characterized by its spectacular landscape and others.

El Teide

Montaña de Guajara

Desde mi punto de vista esta montaña junto con el pico del Teide son los recursos más importantes de Tenerife y de las islas porque es la tercer cumbre más elevada de las islas Canarias. Esta montaña tiene un valor de historia y de leyenda porque tiene el nombre de una princesa Guanche. Esta montaña es muy accesible al mismo tiempo que el pico del Teide y la gente puede acceder hasta ella caminando puesto que es una de las principales montañas en las rutas de senderismo en la isla.

Guajara Mountain

From my point of view this mountain together The Teide´s top are the most important resources of Tenerife and of the islands because it are the third highest top of the Canaries. This mountain has got a value of History and legend because it has got the name of a Guanche princess. At the same time that The Teide´s top this mountain is very accessible and the people can access to this mountain walking because it is one of the main mountains in the routes of trekking in the island.

LLanos de Ucanca

Los Llanos de Ucanca son recursos naturales paisajísticos y se caracterizan por el paisaje lávico que presentan. Hoy en día es un lugar de tipo complementario, y no se puede acceder hasta él, aunque su accesibilidad es buena y puede ser visitado en el horario en el que el Parque está abierto. Una de sus características más importantes es la niebla que cae encima de ellos.

Ucanca Plains
These are natural resources and they are characterised by the landscape of lava .Now a days these Plains have got a complementary access, and it is prohibited to come to them. However they are very accessible and they can be visited all the day in the timetable of the Park. One of their most important characteristics is the fog which falls on them.

Minas de San José

He destacado otros recursos llamados “Minas de san José” las cuales están localizadas en el entorno del Parque Nacional de las Cañadas del Teide. Son recursos naturales y paisajísticos formados por arenas blancas que reflejan la sensación de estar en la Luna. Son muy accesibles ya que están localizadas en la carretera principal del Parque Nacional, además pueden ser visitadas durante las horas en las que el Parque Nacional está abierto

The Mines of San José
I have emphasized others resources called Mines of San José” Minas de San Jose” which are located in the environment of The National Park of “Las Cañadas del Teide”. They are natural resources which are compound with white sands which reflect the feeling to be in the moonlight. They are very accessible because this white landscape is located in the main road of the National Park, moreover they can be visited in the hours that the Park is opened.

Refugio del Teide

Refugio del Teide:

Este refugio es conocido como refugio de Altavista y es un recurso de gran importancia puesto que se encuentra situado en el pico más alto de España. Este refugio ofrece una serie de servicios como enfermería y cocina entre otros. Fue remodelado en el año 2007 (y su uso es comercial. Por otra parte tiene un buen acceso porque la gente puede llegar a él en teleférico ,además puede ser visitado en el horario del Parque Nacional . Sus precios son de 20€ en general y de 10€ para mayores de 65 años y montañeros federado.

The refuge of El Teide:

This refuge is known as refuge of Altavista and is a resource very important because is located on the highest mountain of Spain. This refuge offers a huge variety of services as for example infirmary, cuisine and others. It was redesigned in 2007 and it’s use is commercial. On the other hand has got a good access because people can arrive by means of the cable railway, moreover it can be visited in the timetable of the National Park. It’s prices are 20€ in general and 10€ for people who have got between 65 years of age and for federated mountain climber.

Alhelí del Teide

Esta es una de las especies endémicas más características del Parque Nacional del Teide la cual está situada en el Centro de visitantes del Portillo junto a otras especies endémicas como por ejemplo “La hierba Pajonera”. Pienso que es importante destacar esta especie natural porque es una de las más importantes que existe en la flora del Parque nacional . Por otra parte posee un valor de historia puesto que hace años atrás fue usada como planta medicinal. Tiene una buena accesibilidad y puede ser vista por toda la gente.

The wallflower of el Teide:

This is one of the most characteristic endemic species of the Teide National Park which is located in the visitor center of el Portillo together other endemic species as for example “ La hierba Pajonera”. I think that it is important to emphasize this natural specie because is one of the most important that exists in the flora of the National Park. On the other hand it has got a value of history because some years ago was used as medicinal species. On the other hand is very accessible and can be seen by all the people.
